Free Healing Isn't Linear Coloring Page (The One Step Forward, Two Steps Back Edition)
Hey my peoples!
I know as well as anyone that life can simply suck! I know we are supposed to be positive but we can't always be so naive as to believe that life has some sort of magic wand that we swing around and everything is all of a sudden hunky dory. That's just not so!
Grief..... I'm in a bad place in my head lately and I'm trying not to be! Last year on this weekend my dad told me he wasn't feeling right, I asked why what's going on? He replied with a vag I don't know I just feel off and I have really bad heartburn which is strange because I take that heartburn pill and it almost always keeps it away. I've had heartburn really bad since Wednesday. ( This is Saturday) And my arm hurts really bad.... I told him dad that's not good. He replied why??? With a bit of sarcasm in there you know.... I replied with a .... Those are heart attack symptoms..... And proceeded to tell him he should really go in. He told me I am not going to spend my Saturday in the damn hospital..... I can understand that Dad but I really think you should go in ..... he replies with, I will be just fine...... I continue to monitor him throughout that whole entire day. I can't force a grown man to go in. And I was taught to respect my father's answers ...It was July. It was hot, humid and nasty. I half expected to see him hunched over somewhere having a heart attack. It never happened. He was fine throughout the whole day except for he was a little bit fatigued looking.... By the next day I text and asked him how he was doing and he said I'm feeling better... I proceeded to text him and he seemed to be doing good in good spirits and fine.... The next thing I know I am getting a phone call at 10:00 a.m. that Tuesday that my dad was in the hospital and they had lost him three times already and that I needed to get there as soon as possible.... We lost him that day and I remember this weekend as the weekend that I just wish I would have made him go in the what-ifs go through my head so much..... But I can also what if myself into positivity. I can positively say that life absolutely sucks without my dad, but I can also positively say that he does not have to go through the elderly struggles. He does not have to go through the pain of living everyday. I can honestly say that I believe he is at peace. I just wish that I could find the peace here on Earth without him....
Sorry for the long rant. I promise I will be okay. It is a part of the grieving process. We all go through it whether we want to or not. We have no choice....
You can color it digitally or You can color it after you print it out if you like printers which I hate printers. They're so annoying and they hardly ever work. But if yours works great, do that and grab your favorite colors. Hopefully it will help you get through a struggle......
