Free I Colored One Single Petal (And Honestly, That Deserves a Gold Star) coloring page

I Colored One Single Petal (And Honestly, That Deserves a Gold Star) Can we just be real for a second? We’ve all seen the pristine wellness advice telling us to just sit down, meditate for an hour, or effortlessly knock out an entire intricate coloring book page while sipping chamomile tea in total silence. And look, that’s great in theory! But sometimes, your brain gets the memo and decides that holding a pen feels like lifting a brick, and finding your "center" is an absolute joke. You sit down with the best intentions. You open the book. And your nervous system is just like: Nope, we have zero bandwidth today. So you color one single petal... and then you close the book and go stare at the wall. Honestly? Same. Some days are just messy like that, and pretending we have the energy for a massive project is exhausting. That’s the exact vibe behind this week’s new freebie. It features a gorgeous, hand-drawn lily illustration paired with the ultimate honest achiev...

Free Butterfly and Flowers Floral Coloring Page

If you ever watch a butterfly outside, they don't actually fly in a straight, logical line. They aggressively zig-zag all over the place like they drank three cups of coffee, completely forgot what they were doing, and are currently panicking about it. They look beautiful doing it, sure, but let’s be honest—their flight path looks exactly like the inside of an anxious human brain trying to remember if they turned off the stove while simultaneously rewriting an email from three days ago, and still never sending it out.

Honestly, why do we pretend we have our lives completely structured and organized? We want to be like those aesthetic influencers who look like elegant butterflies gliding through life, but most days we feel more like a moth that accidentally flew into a lampshade... IDK, life is a lot. We spend all day running around trying to handle the daily grind, feeling compelled to fit in with everyone else, when in reality, we're all just winging it. Like my writing! It’s an absolute mess. It has run-on sentences that never seem to end, terrible punctuation, and words spelled wrong by a crazy dyslexic who was told by a group of third-grade teachers that they’d never be smart enough to understand poetry. Look at me now, teachers, I'm literally running a whole website! Not that it's successful yet or anything but sill I'm working on it. I'm not a professional writer and I am 100% okay with that, but I love putting these pages out there so anyone who is even a little bit like me has a place to escape—or at least a place to laugh at my chaotic text. If you're laughing, I'm doing my job.

If you didn't know I'm a introvert who actually loves to stay home. don't get me wrong I love to go outside from time to time and I do see other people even if some people look at my life and think how the hell does she live her life like that? Listen dude last time I checked this is my life to live and you don't have to live it but also my brain cant handle what so called normal peoples can handle. some people hear that I'm a stay at home mom who really hates public places and grocery stores and for some reason that makes them automatically think that I'm a hermit and I never see people and that I basically just do nothing all day. well people its not even a little bit like that all why you gotta judge me ? I try not to judge your life style working a job you have and spending no time on anything other then saying how tiered you are from working at the job you hate, yet you judge me thinking I have it made well guss what? I don't just do nothing all day. my life probably looks nothing like you believe it would. here's a bit of a break down. I home school my kinds on top of working on the blog everyday, I keep my house clean and I do mean I have a damn schedule to keep it clean and its exhausting and damn demanding but anyways, I cook all of our meals, I pay all the bills, I do all the budgeting, banking ya know the money stuff, I do our taxes , oh and before you think that means we are screwed we have 0 debt and I mean 0 we owen everything well ya know as much as any of can actually Owen our lands ya know like don't pay land taxes and you don't own shit. anyways back to the day of me. I  take care of 2 kids and my husband, yes I do take care of my husband not like he's a kids but whatever you know what I mean, I have 5 animals to care for, on weekends we help take care of things at my mothers house. Which means we have 2 lawns to mow , and two every other house hold thing to take care of, I do all the grocery shopping. I make sure everyone has their everything. I make my husbands lunch..... anyways I'm not going to bore you with the rest but I think you get my point, well at least I hope you do. also dang I just looked back at all that & I went dang you just done ranted like crazy soooo I must apologize to you the reader now because well that's what a classic people pleaser does , we apologize for everything even existing hahahaha. also please don't be offended that's totally not my goal.

anyways lets talk about this cool coloring page. This design features a gorgeous, detailed butterfly hanging out over a bunch of intricate flowers, specifically created to act as an emergency mute button for your screaming nervous system. Grab your favorite smooth gel pens, fine-tip markers, or colored pencils, drop your shoulders away from your ears, and let yourself get completely lost in the patterns.

Want to mix things up?

  • Go Old School: Print this bad boy out on some heavy cardstock so your favorite markers don't bleed through while you're ignoring your adult responsibilities on the couch. Or finger paint with actual mud—I don't judge, you do you!

  • Go Digital: Download the PDF and pop it into free apps like Sketchbook or Procreate on your tablet or phone. It’s the ultimate way to color in the dark when you can't sleep at 2 a.m., or when you're just way too lazy (like me) to get up, deal with the printer, and hunt down a green pencil that hasn't rolled under the couch.

  • Frame It: Hang your finished masterpiece somewhere you can see it as actual proof that you successfully survived another chaotic day and created a little pocket of peace for yourself.
